ERA5 Global Records

The ERA5 Reanalysis dataset contains hourly estimates of numerous meteorological variables globally back to 1940. As the recently added 1940-1949 period still has some prominent erroneous extrema, this analysis is restricted to all global extremes for each variable available below from 1950 to 2023.
