Welcome!

I am a former Ph.D. student at the University of Oklahoma, having worked with Dr. Steven Cavallo on researching Arctic Meteorology. I previously completed my B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University at Albany, SUNY. This website shows some of my research, as well as additional projects and real-time data visualizations. I graduated with my Ph.D. in early 2024, and currently work for the Weather Prediction Center.

AUGUST 2025 UPDATE : My website is now migrating over to www.polarwx.com. My new email address is "tomerburg@gmail.com". As of September 2025, I will no longer be updating this website nor respond to emails from my original OU email address.
